OKR COACHING SERVICE

# A certified OKR coach, where your OKRs already live

Most OKR coaching ends when the workshop slides close. Ours doesn't. Devokr is the only OKR coaching practice where your coach works inside the same platform your team uses every day, so guidance shows up where the work actually happens.

## Digital OKR coaching, not slide-deck coaching

A traditional OKR coach runs an offsite, hands you a workbook, then disappears. Three months later, when your Key Results start drifting, the coach is gone and the playbook sits in a shared drive.

**Devokr coaching is different because the coach and the platform are the same team.** Your coach sees your actual OKRs, your team's check-ins, your confidence scores, and your alignment gaps in real time. Coaching conversations start from data, not from memory.

## Coaching fits when OKRs exist but aren't moving the business

Below are the patterns we see most often before companies reach out for coaching. If two or more sound familiar, coaching is likely the right service.

**You set OKRs at the start of the quarter and forget them by week three.** Weekly check-ins have quietly turned into status updates.

**Teams pick safe Key Results they know they can hit.** Stretch is gone; ambition has been optimised out of the practice.

**Leadership isn't sure whether OKRs are working.** Some teams seem engaged, others are quietly opting out, and the program is losing energy without anyone naming why.

**Cross-team alignment broke somewhere in the cascade.** Department OKRs roll up on paper, but in practice teams are pulling in different directions.

If you have never run an OKR cycle before, coaching isn't the right starting point. [Start with OKR Consulting](/en/our-services/okr-consulting), where we build the program from scratch.

## Ways teams work with our OKR coach

Coaching adapts to the scope you need. Most engagements start narrow and widen once the first cycle proves out, but each format stands on its own.

Most common

### OKR Coaching for Leadership Teams

Direct coaching for founders, the C-suite, or department heads on writing company-level Objectives, sponsoring the program, and modelling the discipline downstream. This is where most rollouts succeed or quietly fail.

One cycle minimum
Up to 8 leaders

Single-team focus

### Bespoke OKR Coaching

Tailored coaching for an individual team that owns a strategic outcome: product, growth, engineering, customer success. The coach embeds with a weekly cadence through the cycle and stays close to drafting, scoring, and reflection.

12-week cycles
One team at a time

Cross-cutting

### Strategy Alignment Coaching with OKRs

When company strategy is clear but OKRs aren't connecting to it. Coaching cuts across the cascade (company, department, team) and fixes the broken hand-offs that make OKRs feel disconnected from the bigger picture.

Pre-cycle sprint
Across the cascade

Ongoing

### Cycle-by-cycle OKR Coaching

A retainer engagement that lives across multiple cycles. The coach joins drafting sessions, mid-cycle check-ins, scoring reviews, and retrospectives. For companies treating OKR maturity as a multi-year investment, not a single workshop.

6 to 12 months
Multi-cycle

## From kickoff to cycle close

A typical coaching engagement has four moving parts. The cadence flexes; the structure stays.

### Discovery call

30 minutes, no commitment. We listen to where your OKRs stand and decide together whether coaching is the right shape, or whether consulting or training fits better.

### Diagnostic

Week-one review of existing OKRs, cadence, and check-in rhythm. We surface where the practice is leaking energy and what to address first.

### Live coaching

Weekly or bi-weekly sessions tied to your check-in rhythm. Drafting OKRs, scoring reviews, and alignment fixes happen with live platform data on the screen.

### Cycle close

An honest retrospective at cycle end. What worked, what to keep, what to fix before the next cycle starts. Most clients renew at this point.

## Four reasons companies pick us over generic OKR coaches

The combination of OKR-BOK™ certification, ICF-accredited coaching, and a platform our coaches helped build is hard to replicate anywhere else in the market.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What exactly does "digital OKR coaching" mean?

It means your coach works inside the same platform your team uses to track OKRs. Instead of a coach who shows up monthly and asks "how are things going," our coach sees your check-ins as they happen, spots a drifting Key Result on Tuesday, and brings it up in Wednesday's session. Coaching from data, not from anecdote.

### How is coaching different from consulting?

Consulting builds the OKR system from scratch: cadence, cascading, scoring, governance. Coaching strengthens an OKR practice that already exists. If you have never run an OKR cycle, start with OKR consulting. If you have run cycles but the program is losing energy, you want coaching.

### How often do we meet?

Most engagements run weekly or bi-weekly during the cycle, with a kickoff session of 90 minutes and follow-ups of 45 to 60 minutes. Around scoring and cycle close, sessions cluster. Outside cycle peaks, async check-ins on the platform replace some live time.

### Is coaching only for leadership teams?

No. We coach at three levels: leadership teams setting company OKRs, individual teams owning a strategic outcome, and program owners (often the COO, Head of Strategy, or People Ops lead) who run the practice across the company. The format adapts to scope.

### How long is a typical engagement?

The minimum is one full cycle, usually 12 weeks. Most clients renew for a second cycle once they see the difference data-driven coaching makes. Long-term retainers of 6 to 12 months are common for companies treating OKR maturity as a multi-year investment.
