## Frequently Asked Questions

### How does the OKR Quality Checker work?

The OKR Quality Checker runs your objective and key results through a rule-based scoring set. It evaluates measurability, units, time-bound markers, length, and outcome focus, then produces an overall score from 0 to 100. No AI or guesswork, just proven OKR writing rules.

### What are the criteria of a good OKR?

A good OKR has: a qualitative and inspirational Objective, Key Results that include a measurable number or percentage, an outcome focus instead of an output focus, a time-bound marker like a quarter or date, and 3 to 5 Key Results in total. Avoid vague verbs like "improve" or "optimize" and task-oriented verbs like "launch" or "build".

### What should I do if my score is low?

A low score usually means your Key Results lack measurable numbers, lean too heavily on task-oriented language, or your Objective is written too narrowly or too broadly. Address each warning the tool surfaces one at a time: first add numbers and units, then specify a timeframe, and finally rewrite verbs to focus on outcomes instead of activities.

### How is the score calculated?

The overall score combines the average Key Result score (weighted 70%) with the Objective score (weighted 30%). Each Key Result is evaluated on measurability (30 points), unit (15 points), time-bound marker (20 points), length (15 points), and outcome focus (20 points). The Objective is graded on length, qualitative tone, the right number of Key Results, and outcome-oriented language.

### Where is my data stored?

Nowhere. The OKR Quality Checker does not store your data, save copies on the server, or attach it to any account. When you submit the form, the analysis runs, the result is shown on screen, and it is forgotten with your session. The result page is also blocked from search engine indexing.
