OKR TRAINING SERVICE

OKR Training that turns teams into practitioners

Most OKR training is theory slides and a sample template. Ours is hands-on: by the end of a session, every participant has drafted their own Objective and Key Results in their own context, scored them honestly, and seen the common anti-patterns on a live whiteboard.

Hands-on workshops L&D-designed curriculum

Training that produces OKR writers, not certificate collectors

Most OKR training is built by frameworks people: heavy on slides, light on practice. Participants walk out remembering the acronym and not much else. The first time they sit down to write a real Objective, they freeze.

Our curriculum is designed by a Learning & Development specialist and delivered by certified OKR practitioners. That combination matters: every module is built around active drafting, peer feedback, and live coaching, not lecture. Participants leave with their own OKRs, not their own slide handouts.

Training fits when the gap is skill, not strategy

Training is the right service when your teams need to actually be able to write OKRs, score them, and run check-ins on their own. Below are the four scenarios where it lands.

Your team has heard of OKRs but never written one. They understand the acronym but cannot translate it into Objectives and Key Results for their own work.

Leadership needs a shared OKR vocabulary. Before rolling out company-wide, the C-suite and department heads need to be on the same page about scoring, stretch, and cadence.

Your existing OKRs read like KPIs. The framework is in place, but the Key Results are output-based or activity-based, and the practice is not driving outcomes. Time for a writing-skill reset.

You are scaling and need internal OKR trainers. A train-the-trainer program builds a small bench of internal champions who can deliver consistent OKR education to new teams as you grow.

Training programs by audience

Every program is custom-built around your team's context, examples, and OKR maturity. Below are the four formats we deliver most often.

Most common

OKR Foundations Training

The full curriculum in two half-day workshops, delivered to a single team or a cross-functional cohort. Every participant writes their own OKR set, scores it honestly, and runs a mock check-in by the end of session two. The default starting point for most teams.

2 half-days Up to 20 people
Leadership

OKR Leadership Training

Tailored program for founders, the C-suite, and department heads. Focus shifts from "how to write a KR" to sponsorship, modelling the discipline, calibrating stretch, and reading the program as a leadership instrument. One day, intensive.

1 full day C-suite and direct reports
Targeted

Custom OKR Workshops

Focused half-day workshops on a single topic where your team has a specific gap: KR design, scoring and confidence, check-in facilitation, end-of-cycle retrospective, or anti-patterns and recovery. Sharper scope, faster turnaround.

Half day Single-topic focus
Scaling

Train-the-Trainer Program

Builds a bench of internal OKR trainers inside your organisation. Three modules over six weeks: methodology fluency, facilitation skill, and live workshop delivery with feedback. By the end, your internal champions can deliver OKR education to new teams without external help.

6 weeks 4 to 8 internal trainers

Six modules, every one ends with you having written something

The full curriculum spans six modules. The default Foundations program covers all six; custom workshops drill into specific ones. Every module ends with a hands-on exercise on participants' own work, not generic examples.

01

OKR Fundamentals

What an OKR is, where the framework came from, why it works when it works, and the four common ways companies adopt it. Grounding before practice.

02

Writing strong Objectives

Qualitative, ambitious, time-bounded, memorable. The four-criteria check every Objective must pass. Hands-on drafting of one Objective per participant with peer feedback.

03

Identifying outcome-based Key Results

The leading vs lagging distinction, the output trap, the metric-vs-milestone choice, and how to know when a KR is measuring the right thing. Practice on real candidates from each participant's own context.

04

Scoring and confidence

The 0.6 to 0.7 logic, stretch vs committed Key Results, mid-cycle confidence calibration, and the three most common scoring mistakes. Honest scoring practice on the OKRs drafted in modules 2 and 3.

05

Check-in rhythm and CFR

Conversations, Feedback, Recognition. The weekly check-in structure, what to ask, what to avoid, and how to keep the rhythm from collapsing into status updates. A live mock check-in with role-play.

06

Anti-patterns and recovery

The dozen failure modes we see most often: KPIs as KRs, set-and-forget, sandbagging, cascade theatre, scoring inflation. Diagnosing your own draft against the anti-pattern catalogue and recovering before the next cycle.

From request to workshop to follow-through

A training engagement has four stages. The workshop itself is one of them; the work around it is what makes the learning stick.

Needs discovery

A short call to understand the audience, the OKR maturity level, the specific gaps, and the desired outcomes. Two-week lead time for custom programs.

Curriculum design

We tailor the modules to your audience, swap generic examples for your real context, and design the exercises against the specific gaps the discovery surfaced.

Workshop delivery

Online, in-person, or hybrid. Active facilitation, hands-on drafting, peer feedback, live coaching. Every participant walks out with their own OKRs, scored and reviewed.

Follow-through

Optional coaching tail in the weeks after the workshop. Two or three short follow-up sessions to score the first real cycle, fix early drift, and convert the workshop into a habit.

The combination that makes our training different

An ICF-accredited Learning & Development specialist designs the curriculum. An OKR-BOK™ certified coach co-delivers it. That combination is almost impossible to find anywhere else in the OKR training market.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is training different from coaching, and which one fits us?

Training teaches your team the skill of writing OKRs, scoring them, and running check-ins on their own. Coaching strengthens an existing OKR practice from the inside. If the gap is skill, you want training. If the practice is in place but needs fine-tuning, you want coaching.

Is training delivered online or in-person?

Both, plus hybrid format. The remote option lets us work with clients outside Türkiye. For in-person preference we deliver anywhere within Türkiye, and abroad on request.

How big can a training cohort be?

We recommend up to 20 participants for Foundations Training, which is the optimal group size for the hands-on practice format. Leadership Training stays C-suite + direct reports focused, typically 8 to 12. Custom workshop group size depends on the topic and we will scope it together.

Do you create a custom curriculum for our team?

We already do, in every engagement. Even the standard Foundations programme is tailored to your context: generic examples are swapped for examples from your industry, and exercises are designed against the specific skill gaps surfaced in the discovery call. Custom Workshop format narrows this further to a single topic.

Do you offer train-the-trainer programmes?

Yes, a 6-week, three-module programme: methodology fluency, facilitation skill, and live workshop delivery with feedback. By the end, your internal champions can deliver OKR training to new teams without external help. The default choice for companies scaling OKR practice across the org.
